My Approach

I believe recovery is deeply personal, and no two people experience addiction, mental health struggles, or the recovery process in the same way. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to begin making changes, especially when you are trying to rebuild your life while dealing with stress, shame, uncertainty, or the fear of failure. My approach is centered around meeting you where you are at, without judgment, pressure, or unrealistic expectations. I want to understand your story, your challenges, and what recovery means to you personally.

I work collaboratively with clients to create an individualized approach to recovery that fits their unique needs, goals, strengths, and circumstances. Rather than treating you like just another person who has to “work a program,” I focus on helping you feel understood, supported, and empowered throughout the process. Recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and I believe meaningful progress happens when clients feel respected as individuals and actively involved in their own treatment planning.

I strive to create a supportive and genuine therapeutic environment where clients can be honest about what they are struggling with and what they need help overcoming. Whether you are new to recovery, struggling with motivation, dealing with relapse, or simply trying to figure out your next steps, I will work alongside you to help build practical tools, increase self-awareness, strengthen accountability, and support long-term growth. My goal is to help clients move forward with confidence while building a recovery plan that is realistic, sustainable, and meaningful to their lives.

About Me

I am a Registered Alcohol Drug Technician (RADT) in California through the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) and I am currently working toward my CADC I certification while continuing my addiction counseling education. As a newer counselor, I bring energy, compassion, and a strong commitment to helping clients navigate the challenges of recovery with honesty and support.

I am supervised by Michael O'Brien and continue developing my clinical skills through ongoing education, supervision, and hands-on experience working with clients in recovery. While early in my counseling career, I have already had success working with a variety of clients experiencing diverse issues related to substance use, recovery, motivation, and personal growth.

I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help and begin the recovery process. My goal is to provide a supportive, respectful, and encouraging environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful and lasting change.
