My Approach
I work with individuals who are new to recovery and struggling with the challenges that come with making meaningful life changes. I especially enjoy helping men who feel stuck, overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure where to begin. I understand how difficult recovery can feel in the beginning, especially when someone is trying to change long-standing patterns while also rebuilding relationships, routines, confidence, and purpose. Recovery can feel isolating, but you do not have to face it alone.
My approach is centered around meeting clients where they are at and treating them like individuals, not just another person expected to follow a program without understanding their unique experiences and needs. I believe recovery is not one-size-fits-all. Every client comes in with a different story, different struggles, and different goals, so I work collaboratively with each person to create a personalized approach to recovery that feels realistic, supportive, and meaningful to them.
I provide one on one counseling tailored to each client’s goals and recovery journey. Together, we focus on identifying obstacles, building coping skills, improving self-awareness, and creating realistic steps toward lasting change. I also have a strong interest in helping clients build healthy routines through fitness, structure, accountability, and personal growth because I believe recovery is about creating a healthier and more fulfilling life overall, not simply abstaining from substances.
Whether you are taking your first steps into recovery, struggling after a relapse, or trying to rebuild parts of your life, you deserve support and someone willing to walk alongside you without judgment. My goal is to create a genuine and supportive environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered as they work toward long-term recovery and personal growth.
About Me
I am a Registered Alcohol Drug Technician (RADT) in California through the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) and I am currently working toward my CADC I certification while continuing my addiction counseling education. As a newer counselor, I bring energy, compassion, and a strong commitment to helping clients navigate the challenges of recovery with honesty and support.
I am supervised by Michael O'Brien, CADC II, CCS, and continue developing my clinical skills through ongoing education, supervision, and hands-on experience working with clients in recovery. While early in my counseling career, I have already had success working with a variety of clients experiencing diverse issues related to substance use, recovery, motivation, and personal growth.
I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help and begin the recovery process. My goal is to provide a supportive, respectful, and encouraging environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful and lasting change.
